Re: Eileen's Memorial/Burial - Save the Date.

Hi Aunt Sue,

There really isn't an address as such, the place is on the Number 4
Road near Lowville, NY.

Here is a map with directions from Syracuse.
http://maps.google.com/maps?daddr=8884+Buck+Point+Rd,+Lowville,+NY+13367+(Beaver+Camp)&geocode=CcPzHbNtrReAFaV9nQId5fqE-yElDdWEs4USWQ&dirflg=&saddr=Syracuse,+NY&f=d&hl=en&dq=Beaver+Camp&sll=44.022447,-75.099792&sspn=0.491138,1.277161&cid=6418339425030573349&ie=UTF8&ll=43.468868,-74.86908&spn=1.608583,3.268433&z=9

As you might imagine, remote is an understatement.

Eileen's Memorial/Burial - Save the Date.

Dear Friends and Family

It's been awhile since I last made contact. The last few months have
been difficult for a myriad of reasons - including both Andy and I
getting laid off within a day of Mom's funeral. The job search, estate
settlement and planning for the new baby due in a few weeks have kept
us pretty busy in the first part of '09.

I did want to touch base and let everyone know that we are planning a
memorial and internment of ashes for Mom at the McGuire family camp in
the Adirondacks late this spring (June 27th). It will be a very casual
affair (just family and friends) with a short prayer service at Mom
and Mike's grave side with a picnic/reunion to follow. If you would
like to attend, please make your plans ASAP as lodging is very
limited. Kathy Pierce (Mom's sister in law) has graciously offered to
help coordinate lodging at Bever Camp, a local rustic family resort
down the road. Summer is the high season in the Adirondacks, so be
sure to book in advance.

Kathy's email is:
kmpierce35@gmail.com

Unfortunately, I don't have all of mom's friends (or Family) email
addresses, so if there is someone missing from the list, please
forward this message on. The Adirondacks are beautiful in June, and
the weather is typically very pleasant.

Let me stress again that this will be a CASUAL affair (jeans, and
potato salad, not kakis and canapés ). Mom and Mike loved camp dearly
for its peaceful family time and laid-back fun. We intend to celebrate
their memory in a way that would be meaningful to them both.

Thanks again for your continued prayers and support and we hope to see
you all in June.

Trip, Andy, Ryan and Dan.
